We love this Hostel!

It gets our thumbs up for consistently high guest reviews.

Hostelworld says

Sant Jordi Sagrada Familia is 'the perfect place for young travellers looking to party', according to Hostelworld guests, as well as those who want a quiet night in. This very clean, modern hostel has been highly praised by our reviewers for their friendly staff, who organise nightly entertainment; one guest said 'we definitely would not have had as much fun if we had not stayed there'. We've noticed that many of our users extend their stay at this hostel. There's a personal shelf, power outlet and light for every bed, and we particularly like that there's a supermarket across the street and a large, fully equipped kitchen.

Property Description

Registration Number AJ000517
This is the first hostel in Barcelona designed around the skateboarding, urban arts, and culture scene right here in Barcelona. The character in this hostel is unlike any other. We have a showcase of vintage skateboarding gear, graffiti, and even a miniramp for our guests to view and use at their leisure. Yes, an actual miniramp that you can use!

We have mixed dorms with well-built bunk-beds (linen included), and private rooms. All bed dorms are spacious with private lockers and windows. The hostel has numerous individual private showers, and separate toilet facilities always with hot water.

There is a large outdoor patio, a chill-out room, and a modern common area. The outdoor patio has hammocks, tables, and even some graffiti done by some artists that have stayed at Sant Jordi. Our chill out room is becoming a skate museum of sorts with all of the accessories we´ve been able to collect over the years. It is a great environment for being social and having a good time! The common area is the place for you to be yourself, relax, and enjoy the international environment. It is open 24 hours a day, has free Wi-Fi, and also a fully equipped kitchen.

We are very well located in a popular local area, but still away from the craziness of the city center. We are a short walk from the best site in Barcelona, Antoni Gaudi's famous Sagrada Familia Church. We are also connected to all of the main tourist attractions of Barcelona with two metro lines, the L2 (Purple) and L5 (Blue), a few blocks from the hostel. You can be anywhere in Barcelona (by metro) in under 15 minutes. There are also three night-bus lines that stop within three blocks of the hostel, so you don't have to worry about how to get home at night, no matter the hour.

Reception is open 24/7; manned by a friendly, multi-lingual team who will provide you all the information you will need or want - sightseeing, transportation, restaurants, nightlife and more.

Breakfast is available everyday between 8:30 am – 10:30 am

Check-in is from 2:00 pm

Please Note: If you are changing your arrival time, please e-mail us. It is important that we are kept aware of any changes to your reservation. Note that the booking system uses the 24-hour clock.

Check-out is at 11:00 am

If your departure is later, you are more than welcome to utilize the common areas of our hostel during that day. Sant Jordi Hostels also have free luggage storage!

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations are accepted by e-mail only and have to be received at least 24 hours in advance of your arrival time. There are no exceptions. All late cancellations will be automatically charged the price of the first night of the reservation to the credit card provided with the booking.

*If you choose to make a Non-Flexible Booking and you cancel your booking then, regardless of how much notice you give, DEPOSITS AND BOOKING FEES WILL BE NON-REFUNDABLE.

A tourist tax of 0.72 EUR per person per night will apply for the first 7 nights. Children under 16 are exempt.

A 10€ deposit in cash (euros only) is required for your allocated key card upon check-in. You can claim the deposit when returning your room key card to the Front Desk at check-out. Losing or failing to return your key card will result in forfeiture of the deposit amount and a new deposit will need to be made for replacing it. View House Rules

Love it here and have been over 10 nights. Just had to keep changing rooms as prices kept changing. Only negative is the apartments are not air conditioned. Was like a sauna in the bedrooms

Sant Jordi Sagrada was the perfect place to end my Europe trip. I met a lot of amazing people in this hostel. Uri in reception was the sweetest and was willing to help with anything I could need. The dinner and free pub crawl was an amazing time thanks to Diego and his awesome cooking. The location is close to the Sagrada Familia and only about 2 miles from the beach.

The rating it has now was not accurate. Which is the main reason I'm reviewing them. Not a 9.0+. More a 6-7 hostel Nice staff. Very poor breakfast that you are charged for on top of it. Small showers but functional, however every shower space was much much warmer than the rest of the hostel. Which makes you sweat no matter who you are almost immediately after leaving the shower. Location could be closer Other than that it was a clean room & facilities we functional & a social atmosphere.

My biggest complaint with staying at this hostel was the location-- it's a good value but it's really far from everything in Barcelona (cafes, restaurants, clubs, sightseeing) except Sagrada Familia itself, which made us have to go into the city center or closer to Barceloneta Beach every time we wanted to do everything. Finally, I stayed there in the summer in a single which did NOT have AC (only the lobby seemed to have AC). But good value as the price is pretty low.

Sant Jordi Hostels Sagrada Familia says

I think what makes us super special is our modern facilities and alternative skateboard-inspired décor. We have tons of extras, too, like our cool organized parties, free internet and Wi-Fi, city maps, laundry facilities and much more.
We're in a great location, too, I think. There's a supermarket just in front of our hostel and we're just a few minutes from La Sagrada Familiar cathedral, the Hospital de Sant Pau and Agbar tower. I also recommend that visitors check out Encants, an amazing local open-air market.
I'd say most of our guests are aged between 18 and 35. We cater for people special needs and/or disabilities and we have an elevator that provides access to the 1st and 2nd floors. Silvia, Group Manager
