AMAZING PLACE - not much more to add. This place is breathtaking. Although getting there by night is a little scary. Good though a Little expensive food, great bar at the big pool (open til late), directly at the beach, very nice rooms (fan/AC, depending on normal or superior). Each room has own bathrooms/showers outside in the pure nature - great experience. Staff is also very helpful and speaks good English. 10/10 would recommend!!!

This hostel is amazing. It is like a hotel beach resort. The rooms were really clean. Fabulous open air showers. The swimming pool is amazing. Loads of sun loungers on the beach. The WiFi is only ok and food could be quicker. Highly recommend it. One of the best relaxed hostels I have stayed in.

Viajero Tayrona Hostel is an absolutely stunning hostel that's a short drive from the national park entrance. It's located on a private beach and also has a beautiful pool by the bar. I wouldn't consider it a party hostel but they do have music playing by the pool throughout the day until about 1am. The food was delicious. Thanks!

This is by far the most beautiful hostel with amazing facilities. The pool is great, the rooms huge and it’s like staying at a hotel. The volunteers working there were soo lovely and inclusive and made an effort to get to know people. the biggest letdown however is the restaurant and the staff. Food was very average and they only served food at set times and had no options for In between besides tiny packets of chips from the bar. You can not go anywhere else for food either because of location.

    Very Good

Pros - lovely pool and beach area, great for relaxing, guys behind the bar very friendly, showers and bathroom area nice Cons - food was really average, we brought food to cook but couldn’t as absolutely no utensils in their kitchen, dorm beds were quite hard, aircon cut off in the night and hostel didn’t turn it back on, cleaner came in to change sheets but reused dirty sheets, our light didn’t work so told reception but no one ever came to fix it. If you want the beach etc it’s worth it.

Location was nice, private beach etc and volunteers on the bar were nice. However, aircon was advertised 7pm-11am and it actually was turned on 9:30pm-8:30am. We also had a power cut and they didn’t turn it back on afterwards making it impossible to sleep, the reception staff became quite dismissive when we raised this issue with them. The food is terrible and very limited options - one of which ran out 1 hour into their 3 hour dinner service. No atmosphere. VERY overpriced for what it is.

This place was a big disappointment. We booked a “superior” 8 bunk dorm but had 12 people staying in it making showering and using the bathroom a challenge. The food at the restaurant was T E R R I B L E and the service was nearly as bad. The hostel is isolated so the restaurant is your only choice for food which is why they’re able to get away with charging 30k+ per meal. I paid less money to fly from Medellin to Bogota than I did for two personal pizza’s and a bottle of cheap wine at Viajero.
