About

Viajero Tayrona is located on Colombia's Caribbean coast, one hour from Santa Marta in the Tayrona region, where you will find sandy beaches, coconut palms, a jungle, and the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta (the tallest coastal mountain range in the world)!

Enjoy our private beach in Viajero Tayrona or swim in the pool with a tropical cocktail from our beach bar. We have private eco habs with their decks and shared dorms (some are female-only)! Enjoy our FREE DAILY ACTIVITIES: From volleyball tournaments to yoga and meditation, dance classes, movie nights on the beach, bonfires, karaoke nights, or our famous giant Jenga (if it's taller than 27 levels, you'll get a free shot!).

Looking for an adventure? Book a surf lesson or go trekking and explore the 'Lost City', where you will meet a local indigenous tribe. Maybe something more chill? Lay on a hammock on the beach while you watch the sunset, or book a massage and enjoy it while listening to the waves crashing along the shore. If you want a place to relax, tan, drink cocktails and do some activities, this is the place for you!

Overall a good vibe and nice place to relax for a couple days. Decently easy to meet others when traveling solo, and I liked that the crowd was a bit older, less early twenties people straight out of uni. The dorms could definitely be cleaner. Mine had splatter from dead bugs on the walls. Make sure to bring lots of bug repellant.
