I stayed here for 2 nights. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed my time here. The room was spacious, spotless, the bed was comfortable, and even have an AC. The kitchen, bathrooms, and toilets were not so clean but acceptable. The location is excellent, close to metro and bus stops, supermarkets, shops, restaurant, and very close to the basilica. But for me it was quite expensive, maybe because of the F1 event. Besides that I highly recommend it.

We like the very central location of Wombats City Hostel Budapest, just a block from Andrassy utca and five minutes from a metro station serving three lines going to Buda, the airport stop and the three main train stations. This friendly, clean hostel opened in 2012 in a former hotel. It features spacious ensuite rooms with free air conditioning, and a budget-friendly all-you-can-eat breakfast with yoghurt, fruit and good bread.
