Summary of traveller reviews

Inverness Youth Hostel offers a welcoming stay with friendly staff and excellent cleanliness. Guests appreciate the spacious, well-equipped kitchen and comfortable common areas. While the location is a pleasant walk from the city centre, some find the beds uncomfortable and note a lack of power outlets in dorms.

The facility, staff and overall experience was very accommodating. I felt safe in my room with my roommates. There was a decent amount of options for breakfast as well. I only stayed one night but it would have been a good place to stay more if needed.

This is the first time I was staying at Sterling Hostels and it's been an amazing experience. The staff was lovely, rooms were well lit, tidy and the kitchen was spacious, with fully stocked coffee, tea, sugar - cutlery & crockery. The hang out space is quirky. They do have the updated timetables for all the major bus routes to help you out. WiFi works decently. Would recommend 10/10. But do carry a power Bank as the rooms only have one plug point in the dorms

20+ min walk from everything, no outlet near your bed (just by the door to the room), no hair dryer, extremely hot in the room. A girl asked for a fan and was given one but they were out when I asked for one. There was a man arguing with staff over laundry extensively upon my arrival. There is no fun vibe here lots of families and older people. There also appeared to be young kids running and screaming on the floor above me at night. I paid on Hostelworld but then they charged me upon check in?
