great location, super facilities and very friendly staff. it is huge and also quite old but it has a great vibe. the private room in which I stayed wasn't that big (and charging points were difficult to use) but yes I stayed in an (affordable) room in tokyo ! the morning as well as evening views were splendid. comman facilities were without a doubt excellent. it's noisy due to the theme park 10 meters away as well as Senso Ji ( during day times, when you'll be out exploring)

I never leave reviews, but this was actually the most awful hostel I have ever stayed at. The entire place smells like feet. The floors are disgusting. The doors to the dorms look like cellar doors. There is no ventilation. The showers are little boxes and there is signs saying not to poop in them….. The only saving grace was the staff, who were so sweet and did their best to accommodate, but I would never, ever stay here again.
