Trindade Sea and Forest Yoga Hostel

Exceptionally located in the limits of Serra da Bocaina National Park in Trindade district of Paraty, the Trindade Sea and Forest Yoga Hostel is nestled in a small valley of beautiful Brazilian tropical rain forest named Mata Atlantica. This Atlantic rainforest is proven to have even more biodiversity to the square kilometer than the Amazonian jungle. As if this is not enough we are at only 3 min. walk to the Trindade fishermen's village beach, which is one of the many beautiful beaches of clean white sand and transparent turquoise waters.

The whole area is a nature-lovers paradise. Between the cities of Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo, it is one of the most scenic regions of Brazil. At only 25 km away right on the coastline lays the charming colonial town of Paraty.

Our Hostel is composed of small comfortable wood cottages with a communal kitchen at your disposal. During New Year and Carnival holidays, you will enjoy our delicious breakfast served on our huge wood veranda to the sweet sound of our beautiful pristine crystal clear water cascade. To refresh yourself why not take a dip in its cool waters.

In this birdwatcher's paradise, you will have the visit of many multicolored birds including toucans that come to feed on the native trees that grow on our land. If you are ready for action you can enjoy the multiple activities available such as trekking in the jungle, surfing, swimming, boat excursions and then relax with the yoga classes on a spacious tile-covered wood platform amidst the jungle. The globetrotters Osmar and Mathilde know exactly what a traveler is looking for and will do their best to serve you in the language you are most comfortable with: English, French, Spanish or Portuguese.

As for nightlife Trindade village is alive with the many Brazilian vacationers and the locals enjoying a stroll thru the small bars and restaurants serving delicious fresh seafood from the day's catch.

Since 15 years, the hostel has been offering daily yoga and meditation classes. Recently converted in a holistic center you will find a great offer of massages and vegetarian food : Shiatsu, Thai Reflexology massage, Hands massage, Neurocutanneous Technique and Energetic massage (Reiki) are available.

SERVICES :
Yoga classes every day from 8:00 am to 9:30 am and from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm (60R$)
Meditation session every day at 7:00 am (45min) (40R$)
Use of the yoga shala for your own practice is possible: 40R$/hour.

Towel for rent: 20R$ each
