About the best location you can get, at a great price. That said, you do miss out on some comforts. The rooms are rather tight, and have no curtains. Lockers are a little small, but not bad. No AC, but with the fan it was bearable. I’d say it’s a bargain for the price, just know what you’re getting.

I rented a private room and it was exactly what I needed to recover from jetlag. The whole hostel was very quiet. I had a shared bathroom, but I almost never saw anyone else in there so it felt like a private bathroom. I had to walk up 5 flights of stairs to the private bedrooms so FYI to anyone who that may be a problem for. It was safe and had a secured door entry. I would return if ever needing a quick, quiet place in Lisbon.

No elevator or A/C, so the 6th floor was tough after hot days exploring. One bathroom/shower for a 10-bed female dorm felt a bit like summer camp, but it was manageable. The hostel had an amazing vibe—free sangria, cheap breakfast, good coffee, and a spacious kitchen. Loved sitting around after sangria laughing with other travelers. Staff were so friendly and happy. Someone was on shift 24/7 to let hostel guests in. A pizza place downstairs if you wanted it!

Hostelworld says

Goodnight Hostel is set in a building which Hostelworld guests say "feels like a big shared house" and is "surrounded by restaurants". Our users praise the "excellent" staff more than anything else, saying they are "always willing to help"; one visitor said "everyone was really nice and very helpful with giving advice on how to get to places, where to go and what to do". Guests have also highly recommended the free walking tour. We like that this hostel not only makes "delicious, homemade" pancakes for breakfast but that they're also served until noon.
