A hostel newly relocated and renovated in 2010, located a five-minute walk from Termini station and Piazza della Repubblica in central Rome, Hostel Mosaic is of the highest standard for budget accommodation in Italy.

The hostel spans five floors and provides the latest amenities, security and comfort for the independent traveller or anyone wishing to stay in peaceful, calm surroundings after an exhausting day sightseeing in the most exciting and beautiful city in the world.

We offer a wide range of dorms and private rooms varying from two beds to four beds. Our two-bed private rooms and dorms have their own air conditioning. Choose between ensuite facilities or standard, where the bathroom is situated on the corridors. All rooms have linen included and high-quality beds. Towels are available for hire or sale.

Lockers are available in all dorms and safe deposit in all rooms. The whole hostel is covered by video surveillance making it comfortable and secure.

Reception is open 24 hours and there is no curfew. We have international, friendly and multi-lingual speaking staff.

We offer outstanding good value and superb cleanliness in an excellent location.
Our hostel is situated in a great central location just minutes walking distance to Piazza della Repubblica or a 20-30 minute walk to the city centre where you will find the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps and much more. Just hop on the metro and it's only a five-minute ride to all of these.

Close by the hostel you will find all of the amenities such as supermarkets, Laundromat and restaurants. Right next door you will find one of the oldest and most famous wine bars of Rome - Trimani.

Best of all, with Termini station only five minutes walk from us, both airports (Ciampino and Fiumicino) are perfectly accessible for the end of your trip. Come and stay with us and see for yourself why Hostel Mosaic is the place to be.

The staff were very friendly, security, was good, and I didn't have any issues with other guests. The storage in the room itself didn't lock properly, and the ensuite bathroom was fairly clean, but didn't have any towels to dry your hands

good hostel for the money. it's in a great location to see everything. nothing was more than 45 min walk away or shorter if you took the bus/metro. it seems like an old converted apartments so if you get the top 6th floor prepare for stairs or a sketchy elevator. staff were very friendly and rooms had AC and decent size lockers. beds were ok-ish. kitchen is just microwave and kettle and communal area downstairs is quite big. fridge is only one and small. the bathrooms need fixing.

We stayed in a private room with 2 separate beds, and it was okay, but not great. No air conditioning, as it is super hot now in Rome, so we had to open the window for air, and there was a lot of noise outside. I think it is good for one night, if you don't care much about the comfort and facilities.
