About

Coffee Tree Hostel is on the edge of town, 6 blocks away from the town centre. In the neighbourhood of Boqueron and Frailejones. The neighbourhood consist of mostly residential homes along with some small food shops, it is quite and very safe both during the day and night. The location couldn't be any better. We are in town yet outside of town. As we are only 6 blocks away from the town center, we are also far enough from the noisy and busy main street. This allows us to have a superb view of the surrounding mountains and the tranquility that comes with being in the 'countryside'. The house sits alongside the mirador (lookout point) de Frailejones.

A fab hostel. A little out of town but quieter and better views!! The staff were all so friendly and helpful. They all spoke amazing English which was very helpful. They put on lots of amazing activities! A nice friendly atmosphere with other people at the hostel. Comfy beds, clean rooms, clean bathroom facilities. Kitchen had lots of pots and pans and a large fridge and pens for labelling food. If ever in Salento I would stay here again.

Nice hostel but felt more like a hotel. Undergoing construction so pretty quiet, lots of families/couples as opposed to solo travellers. Also events didn't seem to go ahead such as game nights or Tejo nights, unsure why, maybe due to construction or quietness. Free breakfast was a nice surprise, which could be made gluten free.
