Pura Vida Hostel is a part of the Pura Vida Association project offering accommodation at a good price and quality located only 100m from Las Canteras Beach, the most privileged location for surfing.

Open since the beginning of 2016. Two big terraces, for the family meals and enjoy socializing with everyone, common areas where you can enjoy the company of other travellers, fully equipped kitchen, modern showers with hot water 24h thanks to solar panels and our big screen for movie nights, that will make you feel like home. Besides the facilities, you can enjoy and take a part of all the projects which the association runs, from the activities in the area to excursions to make sure not missing any of the interesting sites on this beautiful island.

We are located less than a minute walking from the popular las Canteras beach, one of the best city beaches in the world. In our area, Guanarteme, you can enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with numerous places to go for a dinner such as Plaza del Pilar and Plaza de la Musica, where you can attend the live music sessions. For shopping, you can walk to the Las Arenas shopping centre, and if you wish a cultural activity, the Auditorio Alfredo Kraus is within walking distance from the hostel.

All rooms with beds luxuriously sized at 105 cm. In all rooms there are individual lockers to store your things, free Wi-Fi and air conditioner. Add on, you will get a locker to keep your things and comfortable 120cm-wide beds.

Cancellation policy: Free cancelation 7 days before the arrival date. In case of cancellation with less than 7 days prior to arrival, you will be charged 100% of the reservation amount.
Payment upon arrival by cash or card
We will pre-authorize your card, in case the card is declined we will cancel the booking.

Wasn't the greatest hostel. The lockers only supported tiny cheap locks and locks weren't sold at the facility. There weren't any activities, so meeting people was difficult. The towel that I rented was still damp. and the customer services isnt great, I over heard an employee respond to a guest complaint about a blanket by saying that nobody else has complained and the issue.

Very bad management, when i came they found a pajama on my bed next day someone else was checking in when it was full and the beds are not like what's in the picture, it's suffocating inside with so small space even for an Hostel and it stinks
