Welcome to the Albergue de Lençois Backpackers!

Our Backpackers is located in Lençóis, a small bucolic town nestled in the heavenly valleys of the Chapada Diamantina mountains, in the state of Bahia, in the Northeast of Brazil. We are 2 French owners, Eric and Thomas, associated to offer you the best of Chapada Diamantina in our hostel, or through the hikes and other excursions that we organize in the region with our Tourism Agency named Chapada Backpackers.

Here are the services we offer:
- Single beds in fully equipped dormitories with 4, 6 or 8 beds
- Double rooms for couples
- Triple rooms for groups of 3 persons
- Family room for 4 persons
- Private rooms for groups of 4 to 8 persons
- Breakfast up on demand
- Adventure tourism agency specialized in Trekking and all types of excursions in the Chapada Diamantina (on foot, by car, by bicycle, on horseback, by boat, rock-climbing...)
- 24 hours reception

A nice hostel with great tours available, however the staff could be quicker and more friendly with messaging. The noise was a problem; quiet hours are not enforced and many people need to wake up early for excursions. Great breakfast.

It’s social and they have a tour agency so it’s easy to book tours about them. The location is central and quiet. The beds are comfortable.

Came in July so it was a bit rainy but still good vibes. Lots of backpackers coming to explore Chapada. The staff is really helpful with booking tours so it was really easy to show up and decide what you wanted to do once you got there. The hostel is a short walk from the town center which is nice and you have a small convenience store next door. Bedrooms and bathrooms are clean, showers aren’t always so hot but not too bad. Breakfast is decent and available for a fee.
