YHA Malham

Surrounded by classic limestone scenery the area is famed for, this fantastic hostel lies within a pretty village in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. YHA Malham has recently undergone a large renovation, providing it with refurbished bedrooms, a smart new restaurant and updated self-catering facilities.

Malhamdale’s scenery is stunning and the Pennine Way passes close by, making this a rambler’s paradise with routes aplenty. For climbers, Malham Cove and Gordale Scar offer some of the toughest limestone ascents in the world. If cycling is more your thing, the Yorkshire Dales Cycle Way runs through the village and offers a classic ride for cyclists of all abilities.

The hostel is also equipped with free Wi-Fi and free parking. In addition, YHA Malham features heated camping pods, part of YHA’s ever-expanding Camping and Cabins offering. This hostel boasts a recent £460k renovation with all 19 bedrooms having been refurbished.

Where a Booking is for more than 1 person the named person on the Booking will need to provide proof of identify that matches the name and address on the Booking. ID will also be requested from all those age 16 and over in the Booking, which must match the name they sign in with.

Please note: Any booking made on the same day of arrival must be made before 12pm. Any bookings made after 12pm will be cancelled.

Cancellation policy: Non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-amendable.

The lead booker of the reservation must be 18+ years old. Photo ID must be presented upon arrival and match the name and address on the booking. Where a booking is for more than one person, the named person on the booking will need to provide photographic proof of identify that matches the name and address on the booking. Photo ID will also be requested from all other adult guests. These photo IDs must match the name they sign in with at check in. If photo ID cannot be provided, you will be refused entry to the property.

To ensure a safe and comfortable stay for all guests, the lead booker must be 18 years or older. Guests under 18 are welcome to stay when accompanied by an adult. Children under 12 years old are not permitted in shared dormitory rooms and must be booked into private accommodation. Guests aged 12 to 17 may stay in shared dormitories only when accompanied by the adult they are traveling with. Mixed-gender groups who wish to stay in the same room are required to book private rooms.
