Get off the beaten path and experience the real Chiriqui at Soursop Hostel-- a tropical micro-farm and mountain retreat in the village of Sortova, Panama. We are named after the powerful Soursop fruit, (known locally as 'Guanabana') nestled away in the mountains of Sortova. Geographically, only 45 minutes from Paso Canoas and approximately 30 minutes from David, Soursop is the perfect stop for travelers crossing the Costa Rica- Panama border or exploring Volcan Baru and Cerro Punta.
Our half acre farm is consistently producing organically-grown fruits, vegetables and medicinal plants; including the powerful Soursop...all of which are completely FREE for Guests' consumption...and always seem to be within an arm's reach.
