we had a lovely stay here, on arrival we were greeted warmly by the host and paid for the cooking class and a 3/4 hour hike the next day. the family were very welcoming, excellent local food amongst the most beautiful location. it is very rural and peaceful, so if you are looking for the social scene of sapa this is not for you. everything was immaculately clean and comfortable, and the hike was certainly challenging but a lot of fun and very rewarding. i would absolutely recommend!
