This hostel didn’t offer much bang for your buck. The free nails and massage were nice, but were done on a porch outside the dorms. The bathroom smelled awful, the AC broke on day two, leaving everything damp, and the shower flooded the floor. The grounds were small, too. For nearly $60/night for two, you can find a nicer private room for the same price or less. Staff were mostly pleasant and the location was great, but despite confirming late checkout, we were called three times on checkout day

I stayed at this hostel before and it’s lovely. However the price increase in the last 3 years is huge. Before when you booked a private room it was around £40. This time round it’s £70. It’s just a room with a bathroom. I was shocked at the pricing especially as hotels are charging similar with of course facilities that the hostel doesn’t offer. The hostel is lovely overall and a great place to meet people however I do believe the price increase isn’t justified. Location is perfect.
