Welcome to Hostel Barra, a beautiful and comfortable house, over 50 years old. Guests can enjoy the common areas, with a pool table and games. We also have a 24-hour coworking space for those who are traveling and working at the same time. Our reception is open 24 hours.

Our location is unbeatable! We're inside the Barra - Ondina circuit during Carnival. We are 30 meters from Morro do Cristo, Farol da Barra, Porto da Barra beach, the most famous beach in the city, and surrounded by bars, restaurants, ATMs, supermarkets, and Barra Shopping.

We offer everything you expect from a top-notch hostel. Our rooms are divided into private and shared, are well-maintained, all with free Wi-Fi, bathrooms, air conditioning, and fans. The private rooms have a TV and minibar for a stay with the comfort you deserve. Our facilities include a fully equipped kitchen, with 2 stoves, 2 sinks, and 4 refrigerators, among others.

If you're looking for a place to relax and make new friends, this is the spot. We're on a quiet and safe street, where our noisiest neighbors are some little monkeys that hang out on the few trees and the hostel wall. With some luck, you might see them during the delicious breakfast, as they always tend to show up. We have 3 different fast Wi-Fi networks and much more, all for free!

100% of your stay will be charged as soon as the booking is confirmed.
Non-refundable.

Internet: Wi-Fi available in all areas, free.
Coworking available 24 hours for those working remotely.

Parking: not available.

Pets: not allowed, as we already have a lovely pet named Luz Maria, super sweet and friendly to everyone. :)

Carnival: We have a three-day minimum policy during Carnival. All bookings during this period are non-refundable and must be paid in full within 2 days of booking or the reservation will be canceled. No refunds will be provided.
PLEASE be careful when booking and contact us before booking if you have any questions. Expenses with deposits and transfers are the responsibility of the sender alone and are not refundable or deductible from the total amount to be transferred to secure bookings.
IMPORTANT: If making a reservation for New Year or Carnival, there is a minimum stay.
We also require advance payment non refundable.
