Located in the heart of the CBD, the hostel is just a 10 minute walk from Marvel Stadium and Melbourne Aquarium. And a 15 minute walk from the daily walking tours from the State Library of Victoria and Chinatown. We are also surrounded by the endless list of cafes, locally owned bars, and all the street-art laneways that make Melbourne so famous!

The Rooms:
All rooms are air-conditioned and have access to shared showers and toilet facilities and lockers are provided. Private rooms and female-only dormitory rooms are also available. Breakfast is free for guests every morning.

The building has false science structural brick face. The room I stayed at had large windowns framed with subtle verical line fractures, in future prone to fall. The double bed set with extended lower bed has horrrible stairs. I decided to sleep on the floor. The personnel was/is inteligent. The pedestrian crossing is dangerous. The location is under investigation as the gas schemes of bad air in Melbourne are more apparent. Please be very careful and at least have a basic map you made yourself.

If you’re on a tight budget, this is a good option in a great location. I stayed in a 4-bed female dorm for four nights and was quite happy with it. The free breakfast obviously isn’t anything fancy but enough to get you started for the day and considering how much the kitchen was in use, it was always clean and tidy there. The bathroom on my floor was in a good condition, but the dorm itself was quite dated. And I really missed any kind of surface (nightstand/bench) to organise my luggage!
