Never be bored! board games and PlayStation, sun-loungers, a pool table and a table tennis table. Our high-speed Wi-Fi is FREE and unlimited and is available all over the hostel.
Driving to us? We have parking available next to the building via the Parkable app, search for "328 Roma Street" We advise booking in advance. Anyone parking without paying will be towed by Parkable, the release fee is $285, and Chill Management is unable to contest or reduce this fine.
Our reception is available from 8am until 11pm.
Check-in is available after 3PM. We do not offer an early check-in and late check-in is subject to availability please enquire if you are arriving outside of reception opening hours.
Check-out is before 10AM. To check out you must bring down your bed sheets and return the keycard, late check-out fees apply.
Chill is located in a safe part of the city centre in a well-lit street nicknamed "Backpackers Paradise" and has state-of-the-art CCTV security and fire detection systems operating 24/7.
Please note that we are an 18+ venue and international passports are required for check-in. In the interests of security, all guests are required to produce government photo ID at check-in. Persons wishing to stay in our backpacking dormitory accommodation are required to have with them a full-sized traveller's backpack (65 ltrs or above).
Management reserves the right to refuse entry to any guest and does not need to give a reason. If you are refused entry, you will be refunded in full regardless of policy. Guests who are evicted for breaking house rules are not entitled to a refund and any funds paid will be forfeited.

The clean and quiet Chill Backpackers is an easy walk from most of downtown Brisbane. In fact, this hostel has excellent views over the city and the river from its rooftop terrace. It also has laundry facilities, a jobs board, car parking, a pool table and more. Several Hostelworld guests have told us that "the roof top is a great place to get in contact with others, for pre-gaming and to chill".
