Cycling Backpacker Hostel newly built Hostel is a budget friendly accommodation for solo travelers or groups. The hostel is situated directly (almost next door) at the Unawatuna train station, 1.5 Km meters from the famous Unawatuna Beach, 3 Km from Wijaya Beach, 2 Km from Sahana Surfing Beach, 1.5 Km from Jungle Beach, 5 Km from Galle City, 300 Meters for ATM, Post Office, Bus Stop, Food City and Local Restaurants. Cycling Hostel Sri Lanka is a great stop for backpackers and travelers discovering the south coast of Sri Lanka.

Check-in Time: from 14:00 to 22:00. – Please provide time of you check in on your booking.
Check-out Time: until 12:00.
Reception Hours: from 08:00 to 20:00
Valid photo identification is required
Payment: Cash only upon arrival (Only paying guests can stay overnight)
Breakfast is not included.
Pillow case, bed sheet and blankets are free (Towels for hire)
If you bring alcohol into the hostel, please bring your receipt as per Government regulations.
Private locker all dorms (bring your pad lock) . Curtain have evrey single bed.
Hostel Management is not responsible for your personal belongings and valuables like money, jewelry or any other valuables left by guests in the rooms.
We do our best to ensure group bookings will be in the same type of dorm (i.e. 3 or more people). However, this solution cannot be guaranteed until the date of check-in
No shoes inside the building, No drugs allowed on the property, No animals allowed, No smoking in any rooms and certain designated areas

One of the most cool and chill places I have had the opportunity to stay in entire Srilanka. Read a previous review that complained about some stuff but my experience was honestly pretty good. Beds were super clean and comfy. Pool was awesome with running water all the time. The dorms were airy, clean, and comfortable in all ways. The owner is pretty chill and the reps introduced me to the local culture and invovled me in a lot of cool activities like Surfing and took me to a music festival as well. All in

Good for the price. No AC but all the beds have fans, although it still got quite hot in the room. Not super clean in my bed (several dead ants etc) but bathroom area was very nice. Pool also didnt look super clean. More hostel reps than guests when we stayed, so the vibe was a bit weird. Location is nice though, a 20-25 min walk from the main shop and restaurant area.
