Hellesylt Hostel

Hellesylt Hostel has a beautiful location, overlooking Geirangerfjord. There are ample possibilities for fishing in the fjord. The hostel has hiking maps available, with many suggested tours. Hellesylt is the perfect starting point for numerous day trips to various highlights: Geiranger, the glacier Briksdalsbreen, Ålesund, or Åndalsnes via the spectacular Troll Road.

We are located near to some of the finest landmarks and tourist attractions of the area such as Hellesyltfossen waterfall, the Synnylven church, and the mountain farms at the Geirangerfjord, amongst other interesting places and spots.

We have a dorm for six people only with washbasin, showers & toilets are on lower floor. Our guests have access to the common balcony which brings the amazing fjord view and very best experience. In addition, we have several common areas where the guests and travellers will be able to exchange past experiences and future plans. By staying at Hostel Hellesylt you have access to a fully equipped kitchen, internet access and sauna! You can also rent bicycles, kayaks at the hostel and discover the spectacular landscape around the village yourself.

All beds are supplied with a duvet and a pillow. Bed linen and towels are available at the reception for hire (NOK 50 for bed linen and NOK 20 for towels), bed linen are obligatory. Due to hygienic reasons, the use of sleeping bags are not allowed but you can use your own bed linen).
