Merced 88 exceeded my expectations at every corner. The cleaning staff was on top of it and kept the rooms and common spaces extremely clean while the guys running the front desk were an absolute joy and went above and beyond to make it a great stay and help in any way they could. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing yet, there was never a lack of activities or social events going on. Quiet enough to grab a mid day nap if you needed but still an incredibly social hostel with people in and out.
