We are a budget friendly beachfront hostel & Bar inspired in Africa's vibrant colours and wild style. Our priority is to provide the best service and accommodation at the best price while creating an amazing environment to meet other like minded people.Enjoy the breeze of the ocean, delicious cocktails and feel home at our cozy place.
The hostel features an outdoor swimming pool and 2 bars with local and international drinks.We have multi-lingual staff that can help you arrange excursions and provide you with great information for you to discover the North of the Dominican Republic.

We are located only minutes away from the main restaurants, shops and night clubs and right in front of the beach. We are located in Punta Popy, only 15 Minutes walk to the Pueblo de los Pescadores and right on the beach, there are several restaurants walking distance to our premises. Playa las ballenas is 5 Minutes drive, Salto del Limon is about 35 Minutes away driving. Los Haitises National park is about 1 hour away.

The rooms at Afreeka are all 2 levels rooms, the shared rooms have 6 single beds and a private bathroom and the private rooms have 2 or 3 double beds with a private bathroom too. all the rooms are tastefully decorated with a Caribbean style, very simple but cozy. Some of the rooms have air conditioning and there is cleaning service available every das. All the rooms have balconies and are facing the garden.
