Just 50 meters from the ocean beach and 1.5 kilometers to the main kite surf lagoon, Kalpitiya Beach Hostel is the ideal budget choice for kite surfing, dolphin watching, snorkeling, diving, or just chillin' on the sand under the palm trees. Kite surfing equipment, scooters and even motor boats are available for rent.
Our hostel features a communal kitchen, drinks for sale, free WiFi, hammocks, board games, lawn games such as petanque and Molkee, a shady coconut grove and amazing sunsets every evening just 50 meters away on the beach. Also, a maximum of four beds per dorm room!
We offer a convenient base for river and jeep safaris to Wilpattu National Park as well as the archaeological ruins of Yapahuwa and many interesting trips by motorboat and kayak to the area's many islands.
Our staff speak English, Spanish, Ukrainian, Russian, Sinhala and Tamil. We're currently working on our French :-)
