Otaru YaDo

“Otaru Yado” is a cozy hostel located just a 10-minute walk from JR Otaru Station, with a convenience store on the first floor. We offer a variety of room types, including mixed-gender and women-only dormitories, private double rooms, and mixed-gender and women-only 4-person rooms.
All rooms are non-smoking, and have an air-conditioning and a heater. Toilet and shower room are shared. We also offer service to have a confortable stay such as a shared kitchen, free WiFi, luggage drop service (with charge) and washing machine (with charge). We have a lift so you have no difficulty to carry even if your luggage is so heavy and big.

Otaru YaDo has also easy access to the central and Otaru canal by foot, so you can enjoy many activities through the stay here, such as hopping, seafood and sushi, glass making, and Otaru craft beer.
Otaru General Museum and Otaru Art Museum are near the hostel, and you can go to see a great night view at Tengu Mountain easily.
On winter, you can enjoy some winter activity such as skiing and snowboarding at Tengu Mountain ski resort and Kiroro Ski resort.
it takes 30 minutes to Sapporo Station by direct train, and 70 minutes to New Chitose Airport by direct rapid train.

[About the Lodging Tax]
Otaru City will introduce a lodging tax effective April 1, Reiwa 8.
Our hotel will charge the following tax amounts separately from the room rate.
■ Otaru City Lodging Tax: 200 yen per person per night
■ Hokkaido Lodging Tax: 100 yen per person per night

・Room rates under 20,000 yen: Total 300 yen
