We are First & Joe, owners of Get Hi ( it's like "hello"👋 “sa wad dee kaaa!”).

🌞We started this hostel in 2018 with one goal: to bring travelers together, because we believe this is why people stay in hostels: to meet and make authentic connections with other people. Otherwise, they’d stay in a hotel.

🧚🏻‍♂️We are backpackers ourselves, so we think we know what you want. You want a clean place to hangout, clean bathrooms, comfy beds, fast wifi, and to be close to a 7/11 and some of the city’s main attractions. If you like playing with dogs in the garden, beer pong, and meeting travelers from all around the world - that’s us.

🦋We are located in a quiet neighborhood in the center of Chiang Rai, 10 minutes walk from bus station terminal 1, and we are surrounded by local Thai and vegan food options.

🐶We are a social hostel, each day putting together day trips (these are different from everyone else’s tours) around the city, ACTIVITIES every night, and pub crawls and beer pong tournaments on the weekends. We are often quiet in the day, and livelier at night as people return from adventures in the evening. We can also help you rent motorbikes and organise day trips and slow boat passage to our neighbour Laos. Don’t want to be social? Fine. Enjoy a nice rest in a comfy bed, Netflix and chill with a partner or a stranger if they’re up for it. Check-in early if rooms are ready.

🌈We have the hottest and best staff minimum wage can buy. Locals who know all the nooks and crannies of this glorious city, and we are close to all main attractions in Chiang Rai: White Temple and Blue Temple, Khun Khon and several more Waterfalls, Monkey Temple, Big Buddha, and much more like the Tham Luang Cave, site of the Thai Cave Rescue. Everyone is invited to join us in all activities. It’s fine if you want to spend time alone or with your friends, but just know we are a very social hostel and won’t exclude anyone. So if you do want to join in but feel a little anxious, please see one of the staff.

Sun- Sunday Night Market - ONLY on Sunday; quieter than Saturday’s location, but bigger than the weekday markets.

2. Check in from 14:00 to 23.00
3. Check out before 11:00
4. Payment upon arrival by cash

7. Quiet 10 pm but you can still socialize in common area & reception area
8. No smoking in the whole hostel Please smoke in the garden area.
9. Reception Working Hours: 07:00 - 23.00 (7a.m. - 11.00 p.m.) Please notify us if you will need assistance outside these hours.
10. Age Restriction: Age to check in is 18-40years old unless accompanied by biological child (cool parents allowed)
11.Free Steaming: We will steam all new arrivals' luggage upon check-in, before entering the room
