Hostal Hidalgo is a new Hostel in the city that offers the perfect facilities for backpackers, young people and international visitors. In Hostal Hidalgo we have 24-hour reception, so your arrival time will not be a problem for us. On the ground floor we have a pizza bar that offers top quality dishes as well as craft beers, live music and, of course, an international atmosphere.

We are located in the centre of the city on Hidalgo Avenue. between the streets Juan N Cumplido and Enrique Diaz de Leon. 10 minutes from Minerva monument. Located in a central place of the city just 5 minutes walk from MUSA (Museum of art of the University of Guadalajara) 10 minutes from the historic centre (Cathedral, Hospicio Cabañas, etc ..), Av. Chapultepec where you will find a variety of restaurants and bars.

We have 3 type of rooms: 4 beds mixed dorm rooms with 2 bunk beds. 1 mixed dorm room with 3 bunk beds and 1 private room. 2 doble rooms bathroom ensuite.

I rarely leave reviews, but this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had and I feel obligated to warn others. The cleanliness of this hostel was unacceptable—there were roaches throughout the kitchen, and while I wasn’t able to safely take photos due to constant staff presence and cameras, I did witness them multiple times. Dirty and moldy.There is a bed and a locker. That's it. No hangers, no shelves. No place to put a bottle of water even. No AC. They open the window instead, which is right at the main street. At this point, I don't see a difference sleeping on the street or above it.Moldy ceiling.Breakfast is a fodder, bread and jam. Everything in the kitchen was dirty.Toilets too. I might be too European. For me, this place is disgusting. Everyone here is latin and they seem fine with it.
