Great hostel and owners but this is basically a home stay and they have no hot water. But it is a nice little get away perfect for seeing the volcano without excessive tourists

Loved it! It was like staying with the owners as their guest. So do not expect usual hostel vibes here. It’s a home stay. You share the facilities with the family. Franco and Megha helped me with all the necessary details and arranged my tour to Mt Bromo for a nominal price. They have the right contacts. It would have been same or expensive to go to Cemorolawang and then book stay and jeep there. This was perfect. Also there are some cute little cafes on the main road near hostel (next to KFC).
