Our project La Casa Azul was founded with aim to give to the travelers the chance to fell at home even when they are far away from their countries. More than a hosting service, La Casa Azul offers to their costumes a place where they can feel free, comfortable in and environment that allows the easy integration with people from the country and other foreigners.
We hosts with a different concept that makes the travelers enjoy the life while you travel, giving you the best service, attention and warmth. La Casa Azul hostel accounts with comfortable facilities to rest and relax.

Our hostel is located in the colonial city of Morelia (Michoacán, Mexico), also known as the city of the pink quarry. We are located right in the Historic Center, which has been declared a cultural heritage of humanity, and is known as one of the most beautiful in the country. We are right in front of one of the most emblematic buildings of the city, the former convent of Carmen. We are just three blocks away from 'The Cathedral of Morelia', which is located on the main street, we are in a privileged area due to the proximity of the museums, and the best restaurants and bars in the city.

Our hostel has cosy mixed dormitories conditioned with individual beds and lockers, the house maintains the style of colonial construction, since being a building of the Historic Centre must maintain the architectural integrity. We also have a rest room, fully equipped kitchen, showers and toilets, as well as a large terrace with an incredible view of the former convent and Plaza del Carmen. Our mission since we founded the hostel has been to provide a home environment and a deep respect for the environment, therefore the hostel has been decorated by using recycled material and the constant effort of our staff to generate art with said reuse.

They cram you into one room with other people even when the hostel is mostly empty and i got eaten up by mosquitos. Otherwise okay with clean bathrooms and showers. Nice kitchen and friendly staff

Cute little hostel. There weren’t many people in the hostel when I was there so not sure if it is typically a social destination but I had a good time regardless! Breakfast was yummy and they brought it to you on the terrace if you wanted which was a beautiful start to the day. My showers weren’t my favourite, and you needed to ask them to turn the hot water on, but regardless it was a good spot for a couple of days!

A very good hostel located centrally. Rooms are large with large lockers. Beds are fairly comfortable. The shower has hot water which is great as it gets a bit chilly in winter. Hostel was very empty when I was there (not peak season) and therefore very quiet. It was good to chill out for a couple of nights. Staff were super nice, friendly and approachable. Overall a good place to stay. No complaints.
