Canmore Hostel

The iconic Canmore Hotel has been around since 1890, 'The Ho' was notorious for its wild parties and the hotel above it was the place to recuperate afterwards. After a 20 month extensive restoration and renovation to this heritage building, the old hotel is back with the rooms transitioned into both private and hostel dorm style accommodation. Our main floor bar features a large stage for live bands on the weekends along with world class DJ's - it can get loud and entertaining in our place, so be prepared for a great time!

We are the only hostel in Canmore that is located on its most vibrant street - Main Street. We are on main street and 7th avenue corner in downtown Canmore. We are located across the street from the city & regional transit bus service that also goes to Banff National Park where you can catch another bus to Lake Louise.

We have kitchen facilities, common game room along with the bar/restaurant below. Our hotel has a cannabis shop in the back lane. Our rooms come in categories of private with private washroom attached. Private with shared washroom and shower facilities. We offer 3 types of private rooms, 1xKing OR 1xQuuen OR 2xSingle Bed(s). We also offer dorm rooms in categories of 6, 7, 8 and 12 beds. Dorms are available in female only and mixed gender options.

'The Ho' on the main floor is back as the largest nightclub in Canmore, with live music acts and popular DJ's performing weekly. Enjoy the social interaction upstairs in the hostel, mingle and make new friends in our turn of the century saloon inspired bar/restaurant downstairs.
