Perth City Backpackers Hostel offers a central location and modern bathrooms. However, recent reviews frequently mention issues with cleanliness in rooms and kitchens, and some guests found the staff unhelpful. It's best suited for short stays.

I made a fatal mistake in the reservation. Instead of booking Perth in Scotland, I booked Perth Australia...and paid for. Tried to contact the staff, but there was zero willingness to communicate and help. No reply to emails, then contacted over the phone (reception), but the conversation was nothing but pleasant. My guess is that I was not the first one who made such a mistake, so for them easy money (a 4 persons booking). Note: Double check when using AI for accommodation searches.

One of those hostels. The staff were not helpful at all And felt like I was troubling him. Place was pretty gross. I stayed 1 night and moved on and the 2nd place was 50x better. Wont be going back. Id expect to pay like $9 per night at a place like that.

When we stayed here this hostel was 90% men so not a good ratio. The rooms looked like never been hoovered and as many people live there, they stank and had very stale air. The kitchen was not that clean and sinks would build up with food and dirty dishes. The only part that was great were the bathrooms, new and clean.
