Boatique Hotel and Marina is a spa like environment located just five minutes by water from the town of Rio Dulce. We are located just far enough from the town to not hear the busy traffic. This makes us the perfect mix of seclusion and accessibility. When you arrive, relax by the pool, do yoga in many of our quiet areas, read a book or just sleep in our hammocks. We also offer massage therapy and manicure treatments from one of our two therapists. Ask us for details when you arrive.

Each overnight stay with us includes taking our scheduled boat shuttle service to and from town, hot water showers, unlimited high speed internet access, pool and beach area access, and the chance to experience the beauty and animals of the jungle. Guests may also enjoy other onsite amenities including lake access, paddle board rentals, and humanitarian / adventure opportunity. When booking a room, we offer various choices for our guests. We have economical rooms for the savvy backpacker, all the way to deluxe rooms with amenities like air conditioning.

Cancellation Policy: 24 hrs. before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

- NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINK as it attracts insect to the rooms and creates ongoing problems for you and future guests. Feel free to bring snacks and light refreshments if you want but make sure to close the bag securely.

Wonderful property and somewhere I have had saved for some time! It was so incredibly beautiful and the staff were super kind. As with any remote hotel, you are essentially trapped there for meal time unless you go into town on one of their 6 free shuttle boats per day, otherwise it is 60Q outside of those times. We really enjoyed our stay and extended. I did knock off a bit of the rating because some friends found bedbugs in Room 2 on their last night.

absolutely gorgeous hostel. the food was a bit expensive. there are fans in the beds for a decent night's sleep. it was low season so there was no one there. more of a hotel than a hostel

If you want an expensive but incredible experience on the River Dulce we couldn’t recommend here enough - you’re literally in the forest surrounded by Howler Monkeys and mangroves. There’s no vibe because it’s a boutique hotel with a couple of dorm beds, however they are very nice - just be warned the dorm rooms are swelteringly hot as they do not have aircon. You are kind of forced to eat the food at the hotel as you’re in the middle of the river, but it’s nice and not too pricey.
