The Banana Tree Hostel is a lively social hub in the heart of Tam Coc, bringing together travellers, expats, and locals for great food, drinks, and unforgettable experiences. Whether you're here to meet people, explore, or just enjoy the atmosphere, our team is ready to help you make the most of your trip — from booking buses and trains to organizing tours, including our Ha Giang Loop adventures and Halong Bay cruises.

Set along the beautiful Tam Coc river, our garden offers stunning views of passing rowing boats and the iconic limestone mountains, especially at sunset. Spend your afternoons relaxing by the pool at our Sunset Bar, enjoying a cocktail, or unwinding in our common areas.

We host regular nightly events like pub quizzes, games, and social gatherings, creating a fun and friendly environment. Some nights can be lively, but everything winds down by midnight so guests can still get a good night’s rest.

If you’re looking for something more relaxed and quiet, we recommend checking out our sister property, **The Laneway Hostel**, designed for a more chilled, boutique-style stay.

Our dorms are designed for comfort and convenience, featuring:

* Air conditioning from 5 PM to 10 AM
* Free Wi-Fi throughout the property

* Free cancellation: 2 days before arrival
* Check-in: from 14:00
* Check-out: before 11:00

**Booking Notes:**

* Bookings across different room types may require room changes. We’ll always do our best to keep you in the same room — contact us directly for assistance.
* Super early check-in is not guaranteed during busy periods. To secure early access, please book the night before.
* Group bookings (3+ guests): we’ll try to keep you together, but this may not always be possible during peak times. Contact us in advance for the best chance.

**General Information:**

* Payment on arrival: cash or credit card (credit card fees apply)
* Taxes included in room rates
* Reception: 24 hours (limited service between 10 PM – 7 AM)
* No smoking in rooms (designated smoking areas available)
* No pets allowed

**Good to Know:**
We are a social hostel with regular events, but not a late-night party hostel. We ask guests to respect others and keep noise to a minimum after midnight.
