Summary of traveller reviews

P.Loft Youth Hostel in Beijing offers a great location, close to the Lama Temple and metro. Staff are generally friendly and helpful, with some guests highlighting their support for tours. However, recent reviews mention hard beds and occasional cleanliness issues in bathrooms. It's a good option for budget travellers seeking a central base.

Decent cheap hostel with basic facilities, rooms are a bit squished together and there's not many toilets. The staff are very friendly and supportive if this is your first time in China. You can book day trips through them including the wall. They also offer a good price breakfast. Social side is always luck of the draw with any hostel but again you can get cheap drinks from the hostel itself and there's a BBQ area so it's great to chat to others and locals :)
