We are well-known as one of Koh Phangan’s original party hostels, but your experience here is much more than just wild nights. During the big, famous parties we turn into a lively madhouse, yet in between those times our hostel is relaxed, social, and family-like. It’s the perfect balance: meet lifelong friends from all over the world, then recharge in a comfortable environment.

After moving to a bigger, better space in a beautiful location three years ago, we could not carry those reviews with us, but the same spirit and nomadic energy remain. The Nomad House is once again becoming the lively backpacker community that travelers love — a true home away from home.

We’re based in one of the island’s main party zones. Legendary events like the Waterfall Party, Jungle Experience, and Half Moon Festival all happen in our area — close enough to join easily but far enough that you can still get a good night’s sleep. And of course, the world-famous Full Moon Party is only a 15-minute ride away. Whether it’s a small kickback at the hostel or a big night out, there’s always fun to be found.

Koh Phangan is more than just parties — it’s a stunning tropical island where 90% of the land is still untouched jungle and pristine beaches. We encourage our guests to explore, and we regularly organize snorkeling trips, hikes, scooter adventures, and beach excursions. Sometimes, if enough people pitch in, we even rent a truck and head to the most hidden spots together.

For those looking to relax, the beach is only 150 meters away. Around us you’ll also find kite surfing, Muay Thai boxing, yoga, meditation retreats, fire shows, scuba diving, and more.

Our dorm rooms are comfortable, clean, and air-conditioned, with hot showers, free WiFi, lockers, and fresh towels included. Our huge lobby with sofas is the perfect place to relax, nurse a hangover, or just chat with new friends. This is a social hostel first and foremost — if you prefer privacy and staying in bed all day, we may not be the best fit for you.

We don’t run a restaurant, but our neighborhood is filled with amazing local food stalls, international restaurants, and night markets, all just a short walk away — including the famous Saturday Walking Street and Art Market. And sometimes, when the owner is in a good mood, he fires up the oven and makes free pizza for everyone. 🍕✨

And of course, our family wouldn’t be complete without our two cats, Tiger and Mangon — the real bosses of The Nomad House. 🐾 They’ll happily keep you company, photobomb your selfies, or just nap like kings in the lobby.
