Bathrooms were not cleaned often. My stay was for 7 nights. 5 out of the 7 I was there someone left used gum on the counter and towel on the towel rack. Both items were there for 5 days without being cleaned up. also at one point, there was poop in the bathroom shower, but knowing nothing had been cleaned for days, I chose not to use them I was too grossed out.

The location was great and Mo was very patient and helpful. The room was a good size but it felt very worn down, with old furniture and a dingy atmosphere. The bathroom was right next to my room and it was kept clean, but of course it can be awkward trying to get out quickly of a morning if someone occupies it for a while (which another visitor did one morning). And for a two-night stay it was pretty expensive, comparable to a hotel room with ensuite a little further out.

Great proximity, either via subway or walking. Shared spaces like kitchens and bathrooms were very clean. Nice that there are three kitchens total and one to two private bathrooms per floor. Pretty quiet, and no 'rowdy hostel' vibes. You won't find three drunk lads trashing the kitchen at 3:00am as they make some post-bar spaghetti, but you are also unlikely to meet your new favorite travel buddy (not that 'community hostel' feel). Only issues were it REÉKED of weed 24/7 and the rooms were dank.
