Summary of traveller reviews

Amura in Antigua is praised for its incredibly friendly and helpful staff, who often go the extra mile. Guests love the stunning rooftop views, perfect for watching sunsets. The location is central and convenient. Some recent reviews mention issues with cleanliness and dated facilities, particularly bathrooms, and a few note that it's not the most social hostel.

we booked the 2 person private twin but got the 4 person family suite at no extra charge. there is a kitchen and fridge in the room! the shower wasn't hot and had low pressure. there were also small roaches in our private kitchen which was a little unsettling but they were far from the beds so it was fine. there are no windows so very poor ventilation.thank you to Diego for being so helpful!

A great hostel with a perfect location, offering beautiful terraces with an amazing view. The atmosphere is lovely, and it’s a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. They went above and beyond to help us recover some belongings we had forgotten, arranging for them to be sent all the way to El Salvador. We truly appreciated their kindness, effort, and dedication.Thank you so much for your help and hospitality! We highly recommend this hostel!

Located just a short walk from the main attractions in Antigua. The staff were really helpful and let us leave our bags while we went on the hike. It’s secure with lots of cameras so people won’t take your stuff. Just make sure you have locks to lock your bags up. We met lots of other travellers with the same plans. Could be good for the hostel to maybe organise a few activities to get to know other travellers. They have a roof top where they could host welcome drinks which would be perfect!
