Nice location and wonderful staff however both my friend and I got bed bugs from this hostel. Also, the kitchen has strange opening hour restrictions which felt particularly unsuitable for a hostel that clearly accommodates travellers going to the Acatenango hike who might need to access the kitchen before 8am. The doors to the dorm also didn’t lock.

We had an amazing stay at Amura. Great location, staff were incredibly lovely, very clean- can’t fault it! Lots of communal places to chill, with some great views over Antigua. One of the only hostels we’ve stayed in with warm showers too (which was ideal after the volcano hike). Would recommend!
