At Dreamyard Udaipur we want to offer nothing but the best experience. We believe in family and adventure. Udaipur is a beautiful city with lots to see but at the end of a long day of exploring you want to return to a place that feels like home. So our priority is cleanliness, hospitality, great food, and an abundance of activities to fill the evening hours. Our goal is to blend high quality services with classic Indian hospitality for a truly unique experience.
In case you want to meet fellow travellers, we have two lovely communal areas. Our pride is the sunset terras, a cozy and relaxing 4th floor terrace with the best view of the famous Pichola lake sunset. Including free sunset chai every evening to add to the experience. Here we host our famous “Family Dinner”, an all you can eat traditional Rajasthani dinner shared with fellow travellers.
Besides that we also have the cafe. A locally designed place for chilling, reading, watching tv, taking a nap, or socialising. Including a place for yoga, multiple games, music instruments and an interactive library for book exchange.
If all the bustling and hustling of the people and the city is a bit too much for you we have small spots for some quiet time scattered throughout the building with most of them having an amazing lake view.
After a long day there is nothing better than a clean bathroom with 24/7 hot showers, toilet paper always provided, and clean beds with properly cleaned sheets and pillow cases. The dorms are cleaned everyday and include a big locker built into the bedframe for safekeeping of all your valuables. The private rooms are cleaned upon request because we understand how important privacy is.
Besides that we also provide:
Walking tours, Sunrise view tours, Mountain treks, cooking classes, art classes, yoga classes, scooter rental and last but not least laundry services. Because we both know those clothes need some good washing after that last train ride.
