Set inside a 200-year-old heritage haveli in the heart of Udaipur’s Old City, right next to the City Palace, Hostel Mantra is a social backpacker hostel near Lake Pichola, with most of Udaipur’s iconic attractions within walking distance. Our rooftop offers stunning views of Lake Pichola, the Lake Palace and the Monsoon Palace perched high in the Aravalli Hills. Best hostel we have ever stayed in!! Staff were incredible and we enjoyed a super fun karaoke night and rooftop DJ set. Location is perfect and the rooms are super clean. The sunrise motorbike tour is a MUST

We had a great time staying at Mantra Hostel. The location is unbelievable and the rooftop cafe / bar has probably got the best view in the city (genuinely better than many of the “famous” must visit places). The team running the hostel go out of their way to make sure you have a great time in Udaipur with recommendations and help when you need it. Ashish also organises an amazing sunrise motorbike tour which delivered unbelievable views. A must stay in Udaipur.
