A day exploring Madrid, a place of your own to unwind. Welcome to OXYGEN HOSTEL: individual and double sleeping capsules, daily cleaning and a reception team here for you 24 hours a day. Stay near Atocha and make the Reina Sofía, the Prado and El Retiro part of your Madrid plans.

CHOOSE YOUR CAPSULE
Travelling solo? Our individual capsule sleeps one guest on a 90 × 190 cm mattress. Coming together? Our double capsule sleeps one or two guests on a 135 × 190 cm mattress. All capsules are inside mixed shared rooms, with shared bathrooms. You are booking a sleeping capsule, not a private bedroom. Book for the correct number of guests.

THE ESSENTIALS, READY FOR YOU
Your stay includes bed linen, one towel per guest, an assigned locker and free WiFi. Settle into your capsule with adjustable lighting and ventilation. We clean the capsules and look after the shared bathrooms and common areas every day. Capsules offer a personal sleeping space within a shared hostel environment; they are not soundproof.

YOUR PAUSE BETWEEN PLANS
Take a break in our common area, with a fridge, microwave, crockery and cutlery. Optional breakfast is available from 07:00 to 11:00 for an additional charge. Our reception team is available around the clock to help with your stay and getting around Madrid.

BEFORE YOU ARRIVE
Find us at Calle de Rafael de Riego 19, Madrid, near Atocha. Check-in starts at 14:00; check-out is by 11:00. Please respect quiet hours from 23:00 to 08:00. Smoking and pets are not allowed. The cancellation and payment conditions shown for your selected Hostelworld rate apply.

Luggage storage after check-out is free until 15:00 on your departure day, or €5 per bag until midnight. This does not extend access to your capsule.

ACCESSIBILITY
We have one adapted individual capsule, subject to availability and advance confirmation by the property. Please contact us before booking if you need it: a standard individual-capsule booking does not guarantee the adapted unit.

It was my first time staying at a Pod Hostel, and I loved it! Staff made itself available and approachable. Probably not the best hostel for meeting people, but if you are just looking for a place to crash, it's great.

The pods are very thin so you hear everything. I booked to be able to have some privacy and peace and got the opposite as the pods amplified the sound of everything. Also no windows in the whole hostel so very stagnant. Not worth the money. Not to mention someone came in as a walk in and was offered the pod for 34€ a night whilst I spend almost 4x that through hostel world!

futuristic pod style beds. highly recommend if you are looking for a private quiet space. you can lock the door from the inside as well as control the temperature and lighting. lockers for belongings and kitchen/dining area on the property as well
