Welcome to Oxygen Hostel, a unique capsule-style accommodation in the heart of Madrid where comfort meets innovation. Step into your own private pod and enjoy a cosy retreat fitted with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a personal safe, reading light, mirror, USB charger, alarm clock and fire detector. Fresh bed linen and towels are provided for every guest, and hot showers are always available in our clean shared bathrooms.

Beyond your capsule, you'll find a welcoming common area to relax and meet fellow travellers, a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, microwave, utensils and tea and coffee facilities, plus laundry services including a dryer and iron. Free high-speed WiFi is available throughout the property, and our friendly reception team is here for you around the clock, 24 hours a day. The building features keycard access and round-the-clock security for your peace of mind. We are also wheelchair accessible.

Our location is ideal for exploring Madrid. We are just a 10-minute walk from the Reina Sofía Museum and a short stroll from the Prado Museum, with Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor and Mercado San Miguel all within easy reach. Other popular landmarks nearby include the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, El Retiro Park and Puerta de Toledo.

The pods are very thin so you hear everything. I booked to be able to have some privacy and peace and got the opposite as the pods amplified the sound of everything. Also no windows in the whole hostel so very stagnant. Not worth the money. Not to mention someone came in as a walk in and was offered the pod for 34€ a night whilst I spend almost 4x that through hostel world!

futuristic pod style beds. highly recommend if you are looking for a private quiet space. you can lock the door from the inside as well as control the temperature and lighting. lockers for belongings and kitchen/dining area on the property as well

The property was good for the price and the two nights I was there. But there was confusing signage related to the towel situation. Signs in the bathroom indicate that towels are “changed only 1 time a day”, and say to put used towels in a bin in the bathrooms. I did so, and later realized my towel wasn’t replaced. When I went to ask for another, the receptionist was rude and acted like I was stupid for thinking I’d have another towel. Thankfully I had a beach blanket that sufficed.
