Not the friendliest hostel around. A lot of French... who only speak French... with other French people. Felt quite insular, but the hostel at least tries to get people socialising through the events etc. Staff were nice. TV + balcony study were cool touches.

It's probably the most beautiful hostel I've ever stayed at (and also with the most history surprisingly). On paper, this is a perfect hostel but it attracts hoards of French people who monopolize common spaces with no regards to other and make little effort in socializing.
