We stayed 1 night at the promax villa. the staff is super friendly and very helpful (& funny). you can take a walk from there to the city center, it only takes approximately 10 minutes. we had a double room and everything was really nice. good shower, but the beds were a bit hard. overall, would i totally recommend this homestay!

Was more of a hotel than the hostel - good in the way that it was very clean and modern, not so good in the way that it wasn’t really social and the rooms were quite small with four beds in them. The host is friendly if not a bit overbearing. The facilities were clean and the shower (after a short wait) hot which is good for Nuwara Eliya. There aren’t many restaurants around.

I loved my stay here! It was a bit quiet and not many people checked in but I really needed that social battery reset. Haran the manager is a 10/10 guy, so helpful and friendly. I enjoyed chatting to him and he helped my friend and I so much with the local buses. The beds are AMAZING! The mattress is so thick and the blankets so cosy on the colder Nuwara Eliya nights. Could not fault the facilities at all! The bathroom was lush and the hot shower was an absolute treat. Haran… thank you!!!!!!
