Located in the heart of the Upper West Side, along Central Park, and super close to subways and buses, so the whole City is at your fingertips. Explore local hangouts or walk through Central Park to 5th Avenue and the Museum Mile, where you will find the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Guggenheim Museum, and much more.

Check in from 16:00 to 23:00 . If you plan to arrive later than 9 pm, please notify the Front Desk. If you plan to arrive before check-in, Kama Central Park Hostel can store your luggage free of charge until your room becomes available.

The place is extremely noisy at night. The constant strange noises every 10 minutes made it impossible to sleep, and there seems to be construction taking place. I would not stay here again. It’s far away from the city and the place is in pretty poor condition. Kitchen is very small and there’s no elevator.

Overall a good hostel to stay at. Any issues I had were fixed thanks to the friendly and professional staff. I booked the deluxe pod - there seems to be confusion about what this is because I got stuck in a basic pod in a scorching hot room. Asked to change, they took care of it. Listings should be updated to reflect what we’re actually booking and put people in the nice sliding-door pod when we book them. Also the heat is crazy some of those rooms. 100% would stay here again!
