Dilijan Hikers Hostel

Set in the heart of Dilijan's historic quarter, Dilijan Hikers Hostel is a dedicated haven for hikers, bikepackers and nature lovers to explore this beautiful region of Armenia. As well as a comfortable bed and a hot shower, our tiny hostel is designed as a place to meet like-minded people, access detailed information about the local area, and share experiences with new friends. And if you’re following the Transcaucasian Trail, we’re just steps away from the route, providing everything you need to rest and resupply on your thru-hike. Here’s what to expect:

Prime Central Location – Set in the heart of picturesque Old Dilijan, access to trails is only footsteps away, as well as transportation to get you further into the park. Cafes, bars, restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies and ATMs can all be found just minutes from our door.

Knowledgeable Staff – Your hosts at Dilijan Hikers Hostel are explorers and trailblazers themselves, and are there to help you get the most out of your experience. In addition to providing maps, sharing knowledge and advice, and helping you prepare for your stay, we’ll be there to recommend which trails you and your party will enjoy the most, no matter what your fitness or skill level.

Clean & Comfortable Facilities – A safe and welcoming environment is our top priority – not just taking extra precautions following the Covid-19 pandemic but ensuring a well-maintained communal space at all times. Facilities are disinfected daily; individual lockers are available for storing valuables, and CCTV covers the whole neighbourhood.

Support For Local Trails – Dilijan Hikers Hostel directly supports the local trail network by hosting volunteer trail maintenance events, providing tools and facilities, and selling merchandise on behalf of several trail development organisations, including the Transcaucasian Trail. We also collect trail reports to our guests and pass them on to our partners to keep the regional trail network in top condition.

Fun Times! – What’s better than coming back from a long hike, taking a hot shower, and opening a bottle of beer with new friends? The hostel is designed from the ground up as a communal environment where guests can share experiences and make new and unforgettable memories. We’re hikers and travellers ourselves – so we’ve created the kind of place we would want to stay.


Dilijan Hikers Hostel Policy and Conditions:

Cancellation Policy: 1 day before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or no-show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
