Ferries Stay overnight in Padang The itineraries and length of stay period are based on the ferry's schedule. Please be aware that the ferry mentawai fast works on Sunday,Mondays, Wednesday,friday; leaving from Padang to the Mentawais in the early morning and returning to Padang from the Mentawais islands in the late afternoon of these days. You must be in Padang the night before so you can take the ferry the next day's morning
