49th Hostel is perfectly located in a quiet corner of Toronto downtown, steps away from Sherbourne subway station and Bloor/Yonge lively corridor. Lovely quiet accommodation created with the traveler on a budget in mind. Guests can choose from shared dorms to private rooms, offering something for everyone.
We offer value-for-money accommodation but still ensure that your safety and comfort are our primary concerns.

The building's main entry is secured with coded entry doors. 24 CCTV, each room has a key lock and lockers for each dormitory bed.

- Two days' notice for free cancellation
- Late cancellations or no-shows are charged a penalty.
- Check in: After 14:00
- Check out: Before11:00AM
- Payment is due in cash in full upon arrival & non-refundable.
- No change or refund after check-in.
- Attendant regular hours 10:00-23:59
- Late check-in fee=$30 will apply for after-hours arrival.
- Kitchen available 08:00-23:00.
- We do not accept guests from Toronto Area (GTA)
- Valid passport or governmental photo ID is required at check-in.

Surprised by how great the place was. The owner was easy to contact, the place was EXTREMELY clean,even both the bathrooms, and even the kitchen. The subway is just a 7-8 minute walk and there’s a Tim Hortons about 3 minutes away. Stayed here for 6 nights and was mighty impressed considering the rate these guys offered. 100% worth it.
