Summary of traveller reviews

Matini Hostel @Grandstation in Bangkok offers exceptionally clean and modern facilities, with comfortable beds and spacious lockers. Staff are consistently praised for their friendliness and helpfulness. It's ideal for travellers seeking a quiet, relaxing stay, particularly those needing proximity to the train station for onward journeys. However, it's noted as being less social and a bit far from central Bangkok's main attractions.

Did not try the dorm rooms. But the private room was nice. Close to jj mall, Chatuchak market and red building. Booked it to check in at early morning, after a night bus.

First, there is NO jet spray in the toilet which stinks so bad! Yes, in Bangkok!! Second, a plate fell and broke from the utensil rack after I placed it, on check-out they charged me 100 baht for the cheapest IKEA plate which costs 15 baht in-store! So I went to the IKEA store, bought the plate and gave it back to them & got back my 100 baht Charging “damages” for a single cheap plate?!?! Come on! Such a cheapstake hostel !! Unlike anything in Thailand, where people are hospitable!

Nice place, but terrible location. The atmosphere is very chill to the point where it’s boring. The guest were quite old and I would not recommend for young travlers
