Hostal Pura Vida la 70 is a hostel located in the pink zone of Laureles and we have the advantage of being close to tourist and commercial places, in our hostel the guest can spend a night after getting to know Medellin and have a great night party in the surroundings of the hostel . Internally you will be able to meet travelers from all over the world and enjoy our facilities. We have 26 rooms, some private and others shared, all of them have private bathrooms with hot water, we have a kitchen for the use of guests as well as a beautiful terrace where guests can share moments with other guests. our reception works 24 hours

We are located in Laureles 30 meters from Carrera 70 on Circular 4 (Address: Circular 4 # 69 - 27) very close we can find a wide variety of nightlife venues such as restaurants, bars and nightclubs, 500 meters from the hotel. The ESTADIO metro station is located as well as the Atanasio Girardot Stadium in Medellin, the 'puieblito paisa' one of the tourist places in Medellin is located 7 minutes by taxi, the center of Medellin, Plaza Mayor and the Alpujarra are located 1 km from our facilities

In our hostel we have 25 private rooms, 1 shared room for 16 people, all have private bathrooms with hot water, fans, free Wi-Fi services, cleaning service, bedding, towels, soap and the rooms are decorated with nature-themed murals.

I do not recommend this property. My cousin and I left with bedbug bites, and only after reporting them were we told by staff that bugs had already been found in our dorm and the room had been fumigated earlier. No one warned us, and we were allowed to leave our clothes and bags on the infested beds while other bunks were being cleaned. The room reeked of chemicals the entire time; I developed allergy/asthma symptoms, which seemed made worse by repeated fumigation without proper ventilation. The front-desk team were polite and empathetic, but our interactions with the owner were the opposite, no refund or meaningful remedy was offered despite the health and hygiene issues and the extra cost and effort we now face to treat our belongings. Poor communication, unsafe practices, and refusal to take responsibility made this a very disappointing stay. No recomiendo este alojamiento. Mi primo/a y yo nos fuimos con picaduras de chinches, y solo después de reportarlas el personal nos informó que ya habían encontrado chinches en nuestro dormitorio y que la habitación había sido fumigada antes. Nadie nos advirtió, y nos permitieron dejar nuestra ropa y bolsas sobre las camas infestadas mientras limpiaban otras literas. La habitación olía fuertemente a químicos todo el tiempo; desarrollé síntomas de alergia/asma que parecían empeorar por las fumigaciones repetidas sin ventilación adecuada. El equipo de recepción fue amable y empático, pero nuestras interacciones con el dueño fueron lo contrario: no ofrecieron reembolso ni una solución significativa pese a los problemas de salud e higiene y al costo y esfuerzo adicionales que ahora enfrentamos para tratar nuestras pertenencias. La mala comunicación, las prácticas inseguras y la negativa a asumir responsabilidad hicieron que esta estancia fuera muy decepcionante.

Accueil très moyen de la part du personnel car des l’installation dans le dortoir on y trouve des punaises de lit, et nous n’avons pas pu être remboursées. Nous avons donc dû dormir dans une autre chambre à l’étage faute de ne pas pouvoir récupérer notre argent. Nous avons eu la chance de ne pas finir piquées mais c’était moins une.

One of the worst hostels I have stayed in. Woke up in the middle of the night from a horrible smell like motor oil. Next day I asked the lady where it came from and she said they fumigate the rooms for cockroaches! While people are in there!! Apart from that, its a narrow 16 (!) bed dorm… You hear everything from outside and inside. People going in and out during all times in the middle of the night, turning on the light, talking, even calling as if no other people were around sleeping.
