The Light Hostel - Centrally located in the heart of Ha Long City, just a short walk 1,5km from the beach,200m to the market, and 500m to Sun World. Our hostel offers a variety of room types to suit your needs, including bunk beds, private rooms, and family rooms. Rooms equipped with AC and hot shower, free wifi is available throughout the property. We also have a rooftop pool with stunning views of the bay, modern facilities and attentive service.

In addition to our comfortable accommodations, we also offer a variety of services to help you make the most of your stay in Ha Long. We can help you book tour packages to explore the stunning Ha Long Bay, rent motorbikes to explore the city and surrounding areas, and book bus tickets to other destinations in Vietnam.

Cancellation policy: 1 day before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

Not the best stay, location wasn’t ideal, getting washing done here was awful, everything came back in exactly the same state and stinking of damp. Staff weren’t very helpful, pretty poor stay overall but the breakfast was pretty good

was not impressed by this hostel at all. It is a hotel with hostel dorms in the basement area. I had a mouldy pillow and the bathrooms are wet rooms, so everything just gets wet. Was very cheap to stay here but nothing like the pictures. Was not impressed with ha long bay in general. Would give the whole area a miss and just do a day trip for the river cruise. Staff were lovely, but sadly would not recommend to stay here unless you get a private room, private rooms looked good, dorms are awful.

The pool is damaged and not in use at the moment, and the boat tour of the bay booked through the hostel didnt feel safe because of a member of staff on the tour. However, the hostel itself was fantastic and the staff were brilliant and very helpful and friendly. If I come back to Halong I'll stay here again.
